Travel for Introverts
I was just fascinated when I came across this article about a new type of travel launched by the Swedish
Today we are visiting Ireland – one of my favourite places -and yes I am biased being half Irish. 😊
This two-week tour starts in Dublin and visits some of my favourite places.
Organised by CIE Tours – a company that specialises in Ireland and has been going for nearly 100 years – they know where to send you and have the contacts for the best accommodations and sights.
Start off in Dublin where you spend a couple of nights enjoying this fabulous city. Then on to one of my favourite towns – Kinsale – right on the south coast. On the way there you get to have a stop at Blarney Castle. Are you going to kiss the famous stone? Word is that the local boys come and pee on it at night – that is absolutely not true so please go ahead and kiss away!
From Kinsale you travel on to the Dingle – this beautiful peninsula is less visited than the ring of Kerry – and I think more beautiful.
Then on to visit the Cliffs of Moher and up into Galway – amazing scenery and a sheepdog demonstration!
Travel North up to Donegal for a couple of nights – castles, harbours and Abbeys.
Onward through Derry (I used to live there – it was known as Londonderry) visit the Giant’s Causeway and then a night in Belfast and a visit to the Titanic.
Last two nights in Dublin – feel free to choose a visit to one of the top sights – Guinness – the Jameson Distillery or the GPO Museum – the GPO is really worth while and tells the story of the 1921 uprising.
Wow – I have been to all of these places and could go there again right now!
And even better – you get to save money…over $2,000 per couple.
Here is the summary:

Remember when we all had an inside voice? It was that magical setting between whispering and announcing your life story…
Well maybe not a bed – but a bedroom? If any travel agents are reading this, they know what I
